Thank you for visiting this blog! My name’s Stephen, I’m a university student living in the UK and I was born in China. I’ve always had a passion for DIY and working with tools. I love the idea of the freedom that’s possible when designing and decorating an interior space.

For a while now I’ve been watching DIY/renovation/makeover channels on YouTube and I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from them. DIY MAGAZINE, a-room and yupinokoのDIY暮らし just to name a few. It’s amazing to see how they’re able to uplift the spaces in the videos with their ideas and styles.

I am looking into buying a small place in Japan and I want to document my experience on navigating through the hardships and difficulties of DIYing a place myself, learning along the way. Luckily for me, I was window shopping at the right time and right place because the place I bought was in very good condition so that helps me as a first timer.

I also love vlogging my travels and such so I will be posting some of that here too. Day in a life or vacations, whatever I feel like.
